Automotive Service Writer
We are hiring full-time and part-time automotive service writers.
We are a family-owned Auto Repair Center with an excellent reputation.
We are hiring Automotive Service Writers for our Garden City, South Carolina location.
We are located 10 miles south of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
We seek people who strive to build good working relationships with our customers and staff.
Candidates must have basic knowledge of automobiles, but more importantly, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Our Automotive Service Writers are responsible for greeting our customers with a smile while they get their cars checked in for repair or maintenance.
As an Auto Service Writer, you will need good listening and written communication skills to transcribe the description of automotive problems or symptoms.
Our auto technicians will need your accurately transcribed information to diagnose the customer's problems correctly.
Once our auto technicians have made a diagnosis, you will be responsible for giving the customer a correct and accurate estimate and ordering parts for the job.
Upon completion of the auto repair or maintenance, you will collect payment from the customer.
Light technology and bookkeeping skills are required. We use Windows computers, standard everyday office equipment, and industry-related computer programs.
